North Caucasian State Academy (NCSA) is a higher education institution located in Cherkessk, Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Russian Federation.

Founded in 1991.

NCSA is committed to providing quality education, offering over 75 programmes spanning higher and secondary vocational education, including bachelor's, specialty, master's, residency, and postgraduate degrees.

We aim to meet the diverse educational needs of students both within Russia and internationally.

NCSA has a student body of over 6,000 students from 14 regions of Russia and 11 foreign countries – including an international community of over 650 students.

The Academy comprises 7 institutes (medical, digital technologies, design and linguistics, agricultural, engineering, law, economics and management), secondary vocational college, institute of open education, providing opportunities for continued education and professional development.

Graduates can further their studies at the postgraduate and clinical residency levels.

NCSA has a staff of 573 employees, including 31 Doctors of Science and 171 PhDs.

Our facilities include 13 educational and laboratory buildings, a library and publishing center, an accreditation and simulation center, a center for student creativity, a center for youth projects and initiatives, and 2 guesthouses located in picturesque areas in Arkhiz, Karachay-Cherkessia and along the Black Sea coast.

Academics and Campus Life

The academy is particularly popular among international students for its medical programs (MBBS/MD), which are offered in English medium.

Programs: The university provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various faculties, with a strong focus on practical and clinical training through affiliated hospitals and modern simulation labs.
Student Body: The academy hosts approximately 5,500 students, fostering a diverse and multicultural learning environment. Facilities: The campus includes modern academic buildings, research centers, libraries, and sports facilities. It also provides on-campus hostel accommodation for students, with separate facilities for boys and girls and available Indian mess options.
Admission for International Students: Indian students applying for the MBBS program are required to qualify for the NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) exam as per NMC guidelines.
