PLAB 1

Purpose: Tests medical knowledge at the level of a UK Foundation Year 2 (FY2) doctor.
Format: 180 Single Best Answer (SBA) MCQs
Timing: 3 hours
Covers: Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, O&G, Psychiatry, Ethics, etc.
Where: Conducted in many countries (including India).

Eligibility

Primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent)

Pass IELTS/OET before booking PLAB 1IELTS: Overall 7.5, minimum 7.0 each band

OET: Grade B in all sections
